GENERAL MANAGER 

As a General Manager for Fox & Hound Restaurant Group, your role is one of emulation. It is expected that you as the leader of the operation you will show your managers and employee’s what good performance looks like for the success of the store and for the success of each manager and employee. It is also expected that you and the operation will reflect a positive image of Fox & Hound Restaurant Group to our guest and community both on duty and in your personal life. 

 

As a General Manager for Fox & Hound Restaurant Group, you are responsible for all aspects of the operation and property owned or rented by Fox & Hound Restaurant Group Listed below are guidelines and responsibilities that as a General Manager you are solely responsible for as the leader of the Operation. These guidelins and responsibilities are not all-inclusive of the day-to-day responsibilities of our General Managers.

 
PEOPLE
  • To ensure that your store is properly staffed; it is the responsibility of the GM to hire, orientate, train, evaluate, develop and terminate all employees
  • Maintain the proper number of employee’s to execute quality service to our guest each shift.
  • Control hourly turnover
  • Review employee schedules weekly to ensure proper coverage
  • To ensure the proper training of all employees using established Company programs
  • Review employee evaluations quarterly completed by managers
  • To personally conduct all Managers One-on-Ones every 28 days
  • It is the responsibility of the GM for the overall development of all managers and employees to ensure that every guest receives the best products and service
 
OPERATIONS
  •  To ensure compliance with all Company, State Health and Safety regulations
  • To comply with all State & City Liquor regulations
  • Consistent controls of food cost, bar cost, labor cost, and all controllable to company targets
  • To ensure bank deposits are made daily for the previous days cash revenue
  • Weekly packets accurate and completed each week for home office
  • Accurate reporting of weekly numbers
  • Daily & Weekly accounting practices accurately reflect the stores actual performance
  • Proper ordering of all merchandise to operate and execute the operation
  • Ensure prompt payment of purveyors and vendors weekly and monthly
  • Employee files completed, updated, and maintain for proper retention according to the law
  • Ensure all company Policies and Procedures are adhered to by managers and employees
  • Ensure Guest satisfaction through our Mission Statement “Quality is our Passion”
  • Maintain a “Productive Work Environment” for employees and managers
  • Maintain the overall security of the location
  • To maintain the overall cleanliness of the operation and its surroundings
  • To counsel and hold accountable all employees and managers who do not follow the company’s policies an procedures using the philosophies of the OMM
  • No tardiness for GM or managers along with employee’s
 
PROFIT
  • Increase sales through approved LSM and established programs
  • Maintain consistency in sales growth through selling food, liquor, wine, beer, other beverages cigars or cigarettes
  • Maintain a level of service and execution to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Train staff to build sales through their performance, service, and upselling 
 
At least five-years, full-service restaurant management experience preferred.
